The annual Strawberry Festival in Imġarr once again attracted thousands of visitors, celebrating one of the most popular and delicious days on the Maltese calendar. Held in the heart of the village, the event was organised by the Mġarr Parish with the support of the Imġarr Local Council, bringing together farmers, chefs, artists, and musicians for a vibrant community gathering.
The festival highlighted the village’s strong agricultural identity, particularly its renowned strawberry cultivation. Visitors enjoyed freshly picked strawberries, handcrafted products inspired by strawberries, and a wide menu including food, cakes, pastries, and beverages made using high-quality local produce. The event showcased a unique blend of flavours, with chefs presenting creative combinations using artisanal Maltese ingredients.
Entertainment played a key role throughout the day, with live music and dancing creating a lively atmosphere. Families were also well catered for, with activities designed especially for children, including exhibitions and interactive entertainment.
