The Teatine Order will be donating a relic of Saint Cajetan (San Gejtanu) to the Archpriest Church and Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces in Ħaż-Żabbar, marking what organisers described as an occasion of “double joy”. The event will also be attended by the General Provost of the Clerics Regular of the Teatines, Fr Salvador Rodea González, C.R.
Yesterday, Thursday, 13 November 2025, a series of talks was held “aimed at strengthening our understanding of the life and charism of this saint known as the ‘saint of providence’”. Speakers specialised in their respective fields explored the spirituality and legacy of Saint Cajetan, offering insights into his mission and influence.
Tomorrow, Saturday, 15 November 2025, Fr Salvador Rodea González will celebrate Mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces at 8:30am. As stated in the programme, “after Mass, the Rosary and the Supplica will be recited in the Sanctuary”. Prayers will also be offered before the statue of Saint Cajetan and before the Titular and Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Graces.
The celebration will conclude with a short performance by parish children, who will “present a brief re-enactment of the life of Saint Cajetan”. The community is invited to attend.
