Robert Abela was sworn in as Prime Minister at the President’s Palace in Valletta, following yesterday’s historic announcement that the Labour Party had won its fourth consecutive general election.
After taking the oath of office as Prime Minister of Malta, Dr Abela stepped out onto the balcony of the President’s Palace to greet those gathered in St George’s Square.
This marks Dr Abela’s third oath as Prime Minister, following those taken in January 2020 and March 2022.
