The Malta Police Force is celebrating 212 years of service with a series of public activities being held as part of Police Week 2026.
The celebrations began on Saturday in Valletta, where members of the public had the opportunity to see different sections of the Police Force in action. The event featured the Malta Police Band, K9 Unit, Precision Drill Team, Mounted Police and Community Police.
Marking more than two centuries of service, the Malta Police Force described the anniversary as a celebration of “212 years of dedication, courage and commitment to our community.”
The public is now being invited to attend two further Police Week activities. The first will take place on Sunday, 12 July, at 7:30pm in Triq iż-Żonqor, Marsaskala.
A second event will be held on Monday, 13 July, at 7:30pm in Għajnsielem Parish Square, Gozo.
“Come and meet our officers, enjoy the displays and celebrate with us,” the Malta Police Force said in its invitation to the public.
