Prime Minister Robert Abela has announced the composition of Malta’s new Cabinet following Labour’s victory in the General Election held on 30 May 2026. The swearing-in ceremony of the new Cabinet is set to take place tomorrow.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, the Government said the Cabinet reflects its commitment to implementing the electoral manifesto endorsed by the Maltese people. The administration stated that while maintaining strong economic growth remains a priority, the focus will also be on improving quality of life, housing, mobility, digital transformation and the regeneration of various areas around the country.
