The Malta International Christmas Choir Festival 2025 continued last night with its second evening of performances. The festival, known for bringing together choirs from Malta and abroad during the Advent season, once again offered audiences “four different concerts” taking place across several localities.

Concerts were held at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Għaxaq, St. Venera Parish Church in Santa Venera, St. Pius X Parish Church in Santa Luċija, and St. Peter’s Church in Birżebbuġa. Among the participating groups in Santa Luċija were the St Anne’s Parish Choir of Marsaskala, adding a local touch to the evening’s musical programme.
The festival has grown into a cherished cultural tradition, celebrating choral music, community spirit, and the diversity of Malta’s parish choirs. Each night features multiple performances across the islands, giving both established and emerging choirs a platform to share their Christmas repertoire with the public.

As the festival progresses, audiences continue to enjoy a varied selection of sacred and seasonal music performed in some of Malta’s most historic churches. The Malta International Christmas Choir Festival remains an important showcase of talent and a highlight of the festive cultural calendar.
