Servizz.gov Launches New Portal with Smart Digital Services
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Servizz.gov has launched a redesigned version of its online portal, introducing a range of new digital tools aimed at making Government services more accessible, personalised and easier to use for the public.

According to Servizz.gov, the upgraded www.servizz.gov.mt portal builds on a platform that attracted more than 738,000 users and generated over two million page views during the past year. The agency said the latest improvements are designed to enhance the overall user experience while helping people find the services most relevant to their needs.

One of the portal’s key additions is the Benefit Finder, a smart tool that helps users identify Government services and benefits they may be eligible for. Public services are also now organised around major life events, allowing users to access the information they need more quickly and at the appropriate stage of their lives.

The portal also introduces personalised dashboards, online appointment booking for one-to-one tax assistance and identity card collection services, as well as a chatbot that provides immediate support. All services are available in both Maltese and English.

Principal Permanent Secretary Tony Sultana said the updated portal represents another important step towards more citizen-centred services. He added that the investment strengthens the quality of public services and continues the Public Service’s digital transformation, noting that the European Commission has once again ranked Malta first in Europe for online government services.

Servizz.gov CEO Massimo Vella said the new portal forms part of the agency’s strategy to bring public services closer to citizens. He explained that the investment in digital tools is intended to make services more accessible while helping users quickly find what is most relevant to them, with the aim of ensuring everyone can access Government services in a simpler, more efficient and personalised way.
