The Office of the Prime Minister has announced that “Prime Minister Robert Abela and his wife Dr Lydia Abela will be welcoming the public at the Auberge de Castille on Saturday, 20 December between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, for Christmas and New Year greetings.”
Members of the public wishing to attend this annual greetings event are “asked to register their details on 22002400/1.” The open visit provides an opportunity for citizens to meet the Prime Minister and Dr Abela personally as part of the festive tradition hosted at the historic seat of Malta’s government.
During their time at the Auberge de Castille, visitors will also be offered the chance to explore key areas of national significance. According to the announcement, “the public will be able to view the Cabinet and Ambassadors’ Halls as well as sign the visitors’ book.” These iconic rooms are typically used for high-level governmental meetings and diplomatic engagements.
The event forms part of the country’s end-of-year engagements and is open to all who pre-register through the provided contact numbers.
