Voting will begin tomorrow for the confirmation of Alex Borg as leader of the Nationalist Party, as part of the party’s General Council process.
The General Council opened on 24 June and is due to conclude on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. Members are being called to cast their vote on one of three designated voting days.
On Wednesday, 8 July, voting at the PN headquarters in Tal-Pietà will take place from 4:30pm to 8pm, while voting at the PN sub-headquarters in Sannat, Gozo, will be open from 4:30pm to 7pm.
On Saturday, 11 July, voting will run from 9am to 8pm at both locations.
The final voting day will be Wednesday, 15 July. Voting in Tal-Pietà will take place from 12:30pm to 6pm, while the Sannat voting station will be open from 12:30pm to 4pm.
According to the Nationalist Party, every council member is encouraged to exercise their duty in this election.
