The Prior Provincial of the Augustinian Province in Malta, Fr Leslie Gatt OSA, is today celebrating 21 years of priesthood, marking the anniversary of his ordination on 21 July 2005.
Reflecting on the occasion, Fr Gatt expressed gratitude for his vocation, writing: “Grateful to the Lord for the gift of 21 years of priesthood.” He also thanked all those who have accompanied him throughout his ministry, acknowledging the support he has received over the years.
In his message, Fr Gatt offered his “heartfelt thanks to all those who have been part of this journey through prayers, friendship, support, and encouragement,” recognising the many people who have walked alongside him during more than two decades of priestly service.
Concluding his message, the Augustinian Provincial asked the faithful to continue supporting him spiritually, saying: “Please keep me in your prayers.”
Fr Leslie Gatt has served the Augustinian Order in Malta in various pastoral and leadership roles and currently serves as the Prior Provincial of the Augustinians in Malta, continuing his ministry of service to the Church and the community.
