Dock Music will return to Bormla on Sunday, 28 June 2026, bringing another evening of live entertainment to the historic setting of Dock No. 1. The free annual event will once again showcase some of Malta’s best-known artists in what organisers describe as a celebration of music, culture and community.
The event was announced by Minister for Local Government and Public Works Alison Zerafa Civelli together with Cottonera Foundation Chairman Joe Mizzi. Following the success of previous editions, Dock Music will once again transform Dock No. 1 into a vibrant open-air venue, continuing to grow in popularity year after year.
Minister Zerafa Civelli said the event demonstrates how historic sites can be transformed into centres of culture and community. She explained that free cultural initiatives encourage the public to rediscover and appreciate Malta’s heritage in new ways, adding that the Government will continue supporting the Cottonera Foundation in developing quality initiatives that showcase the area’s potential.
Chairman Joe Mizzi described Dock Music as one of Cottonera’s flagship cultural events, saying it has become “more than a concert” and is now “a celebration of the community that gives new life to our historic heritage.”
The event begins at 8.30pm with a performance by Kurt Calleja, Malta’s former Eurovision representative and Mużika Mużika winner. The headline act will be Ira Losco, one of Malta’s most established music artists. The line-up also includes Kersten Graham, Jasmine Abela, Diana Dragos, and Mike Spiteri, while Geordie Schembri and Matthew Raggio will host the evening.
Dock Music 2026 will take place at Dock No. 1, Bormla, from 8.30pm onwards on Sunday, 28 June.
