SkolaSajf 2026 Applications Now Open in Malta
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Applications have officially opened for SkolaSajf 2026, Malta’s popular summer educational programme, with this year’s edition themed “Reach for the Stars.” The programme will run from 13th July until 11th September, with a short break during the week of Santa Marija between the 10th and 14th of August. Applications opened on 23rd March and will close on 4th May.

The announcement was made by Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation Clifton Grima, who described SkolaSajf as part of a broader vision to ensure the education system reflects modern societal needs. He explained that the initiative helps nurture children from a young age through “alternative learning that supports their future development.”

Over the years, participation in SkolaSajf has grown significantly, now reaching around 12,000 students. The programme is delivered across 54 centres in Malta and Gozo, including specialised centres for students with additional educational needs.

This year’s theme aims to encourage children to pursue their aspirations through education. The programme also creates employment opportunities across various roles, including coordinators, playworkers, and support staff.
