The Planning Authority has confirmed on social media that immediate enforcement action was taken after it was informed about a situation at a site in Marsalforn.
According to the authority, enforcement officers responded as soon as the matter was brought to its attention. The Planning Authority said that “immediate action was taken by its Enforcement Officers,” with works beginning shortly afterwards at the site.
The intervention is aimed at restoring the affected area to its original condition. The authority explained that, within a short period of time, “work began for the site to be restored to its original state.”
“The Authority will continue to closely observe the works,” it said.
