The war in the Middle East has entered its fourth day, marked by fresh Israeli raids on Tehran and Beirut and a United States announcement that Iranian command centres have been destroyed. Iran reportedly struck the US embassy in Riyadh, while President Donald Trump promised a strong response. In Lebanon, Israel approved further military advancement in the south “to prevent fire on Israeli border communities.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that action against Iran was necessary “now or never,” claiming “the regime was building new nuclear sites,” but added that the war “will not be infinite” and “will open the way to peace.”

The Israeli military said that during the night it targeted “the most important and central headquarters of the regime of the ayatollahs” in Tehran, deploying around 100 fighter jets and dropping approximately 250 bombs. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed damage at Natanz, noting that “no radiological consequences are expected.”

Iran announced attacks on US bases in Qatar and alleged heavy American casualties in the Gulf, while Israeli officials said Tehran’s firepower had been “significantly limited.” The Iranian Red Crescent reported 787 deaths since the start of the conflict, as missile alerts continued in Tel Aviv and northern Israel.
