Voters who have not yet collected their voting document still have until midnight tonight, Thursday 28th May 2026, to do so ahead of the General Election on 30th May.

The Electoral Commission said that today is the last day voting documents may be collected from the Electoral Commission’s Office at the Counting Complex, ex-Trade Fair Grounds, in Naxxar, and from the Electoral Office in Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur, Victoria, Gozo, for voters registered in Gozo.

Office hours today were from 8.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm till midnight. Anyone collecting their voting document must go personally to the Electoral Commission’s Office and present their identity card. The Commission stressed that no other document will suffice for this purpose.

Facilities are also being provided for sick persons who are unable to leave their private car, so that a Commissioner can deliver the document to them.
