Activist Robert Aquilina has urged people to continue speaking out against wrongdoing, saying that exposing deceit should not be portrayed as negativity.
In a public message, Aquilina claimed that the Labour Party has spent years “sowing the seed” that those who fight against deceit are being negative. He argued that this is done because, in his words, the party is a “factory of deceit.”
Aquilina said that the way to remove power from those responsible is by exposing wrongdoing and proposing solutions that place Malta “back on the path of what is right.” He insisted that the “worst thing” people can do is take advice from the Labour Party on this matter.
He added: “The negative person is the one who commits deceit, not the one who exposes deceit.” Aquilina also described the struggle between good and bad as something “as old as humanity itself.”
Referring to the phrase “truth will surely win,” he said this is not simply a slogan or strategy but a belief he will continue to live by.
