The Electoral Commission has reminded the public that voting for the General Election will take place on Saturday, 30 May 2026, between 7.00am and 10.00pm without interruption.
Voters are being asked to attend the polling centre listed on their voting document. The Commission stressed that voters should check the address shown on their document before going to vote.
The Electoral Commission also explained the procedure for voters who require assistance inside the polling booth. It said that “ten voters who can vote without assistance” are to enter the polling booth for every voter who needs assistance from the Assistant Electoral Commissioners.
In its notice, the Commission also warned that any person who impedes or prevents the free exercise of a voter’s right to vote in these elections “shall be guilty of an offence according to Law.”
