The Malta Statue Collectors Statue Expo 2026 was officially inaugurated at the Montekristo Arena by Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti. The exhibition marks the most ambitious initiative yet by the Malta Statue Collectors (MSC), a community that has evolved from a small Facebook group into a recognised platform celebrating artistry and fandom.
Featuring over 100 premium statues, the expo showcases figures from Marvel, DC, cinema, and gaming. Beyond its visual appeal, the event also carries an educational dimension, encouraging visitors to explore “the intersection of science and psychology” through popular characters like Captain America and Wolverine.
In his address, Azzopardi Tanti described the exhibition as “a living testament to the artistry and passion that unite so many people in our country,” highlighting how pop culture can help explore identity and innovation.
MSC founder Matthew Mamo reflected on the journey since 2021, stating that “hosting Malta’s largest statue expo is a dream come true,” while also welcoming international artist Daniele Angelozzi.
