Yesterday morning, while the Police were carrying out surveillance in the limits of St Luke’s Hospital in Pietà, they noticed a man inside a vehicle who raised suspicion that he may have been involved in drug trafficking in the area.
The 25-year-old man was stopped by the Police and during a search carried out on him, as well as in his vehicle, several sachets containing substances suspected to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis were found, along with an amount of cash.
He was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming hours.
