The Partit Nazzjonalista has formally submitted its audited financial accounts for the past four years to the Electoral Commission.
According to a statement issued by the party, the submission was made “as promised by Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista Alex Borg, upon marking his first 100 days in office as PN Leader.” The accounts cover the financial years from 2021 to 2024 and were presented earlier today.
The party confirmed that the audited financial reports “were approved by the Administrative Council of the Partit Nazzjonalista” prior to their formal submission. This approval process forms part of the party’s internal administrative procedures before filing with the Electoral Commission.
A delegation led by PN Secretary General Charles Bonello delivered the documentation to the Electoral Commission at its offices in Naxxar. He was accompanied by Party Treasurer Veronica Perici Calascione and Partit Nazzjonalista Chief Executive Officer Sabine Agius Cabourdin.
The statement emphasised that the submission fulfils a commitment made by the party leadership within the first 100 days of Alex Borg’s tenure, underscoring the party’s stated intention to comply with statutory and regulatory obligations related to political party financing.
